Born & Raised
Pipe & Ember owners Ken & Kevin (father & son) are rooted in Mayberry. The Pilot Mountain natives grew up working in tobacco and they know how hard it is to produce a quality leaf.
Our Heritage
We respect the process and the art of growing fine tobacco and we love supporting our local tobacco industry. North Carolina is widely known for its flue-cured tobacco used to make cigarettes, and is still the nation's largest producer of tobacco.
Livelihood to Pastime
From producers to consumers, we now have a deeper appreciation of the ritual of smoking a good pipe or fine cigar. Pipe & Ember is not only a place where you can honor the past while living in the present; its where you'll find an old friend- or make new ones.
